The Edinburgh University Theatre Company are delighted to announce their next round of open auditions.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve got prior experience on or behind the stage! There is no prior preparation, education, examination, reccommendation, or reputation required, so mosey on down and spend a slice of your day auditioning for some of our upcoming shows.
Anton Chekhov’s ‘The Seagull’ is a naturalistic play that explores themes such as the futility of life, existentialism and thwarted ambition, through members of a family who are gathered at the same country estate over a period of four years.
We are auditioning for 7 male roles and 4 female roles, all of which are extremely strong and three-dimensional, with the show being performed in week 3 of next semester. There will be minimal rehearsals during the summer, but we will send you resources to help character development, etc.
AUDITIONS Saturday 21st and 22nd March 2-6pm Bedlam Theatre.
