Seli Suhani Kalra

Seli is a writer, director, actor and musician studying in Edinburgh. She studied at the Hunt Academy for Young Actors, and directed an original short film ‘Kurayio’ in 2020. Seli was transported into theatre directing when she joined Bedlam’s Candlewasters, where she directed ‘Allen & Levine’ in the October Day In A Life Showcase, and is currently directing an original work, ‘The Bold Fisherman’, on sea folklore and folkmusic for the March Nostalgia Showcase. She also acted alongside the bard, Meri Poghosyan, in ‘Autumn Variations’ for the Duologue showcase in November 2023. Seli organises regular pop-up music, art and performance events called ‘The Happenings’ and is always looking for creatives (of any kind) to showcase and collaborate with. Get in touch!
