Precurser to Adam House

The Operetta House stood on Chambers Street, basically where Adam House stands now. On the site of the Gaiety Theatre Music Hall which was built 1875 and closed in 1892.
After 1902 it seems to have turned into a Cinema and operated until 1940. It was torn down, with supposedly fragments of foundations surviving the bowels of Adam House.
