The EUTC is thrilled to be hosting a Q&A with writer Andrew Hunter Murray.
Andrew Hunter Murray is a writer and comedian. His first novel, The Last Day, was published in 2020 and was a Sunday Times bestseller; his second novel will be published in 2022. He co-hosts the award-winning podcast No Such Thing As A Fish, which has had 300 million downloads, toured the world, and spawned a spin-off BBC2 series, No Such Thing As The News. With his No Such Thing As A Fish colleagues he has co-authored the bestselling The Book of the Year and two sequels. He is one of the writers of BBC2’s QI and part of the team of writers at Private Eye. He also hosts Private Eye’s podcast, Page 94, interviewing the journalists and comedians behind the magazine about their work.
Andrew has been a regular on BBC2’s The Mash Report, his other TV appearances include Only Connect and Richard Osman’s House of Games. He is also a founding member of the Jane Austen-themed improv show Austentatious, which has sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2013, toured the UK and Europe, and regularly plays in London’s West End.
