A funny and fascinating play by ex-Bedlamite exploring the lives of women who have furthered environmental causes.

Bloody Wimmin’, by ex-bedlamite Lucy Kirkwood is a funny and fascinating look into the lives of women who have furthered environmental causes in the past 50 years. Amongst the chaos and camaraderie of the Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp in 1984 we see the liberating politicisation of a generation of women. As the focus transitions to 2009 at the London Climate camp, the priorities of feminism have changed but the passion has not, the impact of Greenham on the women who experienced it is lasting. Expect jolly knitwear, protest songs and curried porridge.
