A showcase of short, new writing from the EUTC’s up and coming writers.

This is it our final round of Candlewasters for this semester and we are going to go out with a bang! Be sure not to miss out as this fabulous showcase of the Edinburgh Universities’ top writers and directors. This round contains a mixed bag of comic and serious ten minute sketches which will amuse and confuse. Candlewasters has gone on for years as a unique opportunity for budding talents to test out fresh material. Some who had their start here have gone on to immense success; such as Lucy Kirkwood, who went on to win the 2014 Oliver Award for best new play. Our writers this round are a mix of fresh faces to the EUTC to more experienced bunch but all are immensely brilliant! Come along of the 18th March to see some class acting, directing and writing.
