A Miracle on Vatican City Street tells the story of the latest papal conclave with a hilarious, Christmassy twist!
After the death of his holiness, Pope Nicholas VI (Greek Santa), the college of cardinals falls into disarray. A new pope has to be elected before Christmas - which is tomorrow! And worst of all half the cardinals can’t make it! Thankfully the Catholic church has some help: world famous actor Ralph Fiennes fresh from his role in the hit movie Conclave (2024) is on hand as an honorary cardinal, ready to use his expertise and extensive research to make the process as smooth as possible. While Sister Sledge the no-nonsense nun is ready to put these cardinals through their paces.
Watch as they wrangle a conclave of kooky cardinals, each of them out to prove themselves to be the holiest of fathers, all of them desperate to make it on the biggest stage of all. And for the first time the papal conclave is open to you!
That’s right, the audience decides who gets to be pope. Filled with laughs, songs, and fun this panto has a little something for everyone - Catholic or not!
