Isaac’s Eye is a contemporary reimagining of the meeting between Isaac Newton and Robert Hooke. Walking the line between truth and fiction, this is an original and distinctive piece providing context of a brilliant and troubled young Isaac Newton, the beginning of his contribution to the scientific community, and his relationships with others. It’s relatable, witty and explores what people are willing to sacrifice to become great and influential people.
Performed in conjunction with the Edinburgh Science Festival, Isaac’s Eye is proving to be an exciting and innovative project, exploring the tension and egos between two great men.
