IUDF presents Royal Holloway's 'In the Works'

Inspired by Haruki Murakami’s surreal, melancholic novels and drawing on the techniques and aesthetics of Noh Theatre, (in the works) is a devised piece exploring loneliness, alienation and our tenuous, subjective grasp of reality. Following the structure of a Noh performance, we follow our masked protagonist through five seemingly unconnected scenes as his reality crumbles around him.
