A knockabout comedy set in Northern France during World War Two, Keep it up Sisyphus is a retelling of the Greek Myth as a quintessential British comedy.
Set in a tavern over three days, the Ealing style yarn sees Sisyphus recently escaped from a P.O.W camp, scheming and plotting to cross the Channel and get back to dear Old Blighty (and maybe make some cash on the way). But he must be extra vigilant, as a high ranking S.S. Officer is on the search for him.
It’s like an existential ‘Allo ‘Allo but funny.
