This lunchtime was performed at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, though lunch was only supplied on Wednesday.
This sending up ‘ of a main-term production was seen again in 1988 when Colin Teevan’s “ Knackbeth” went ahead during the run of “ Macbeth “, to great opposition from director David Campton and the rest of his team, but the Company’s enthusiasm to let the show go on won the day for “ Knackbeth “. Colin Teevan himself, although still a student, now writes plays performed by a number of groups, and is only the latest in a long line of individuals to find some measure of success in the theatre world beyond the Bedlam where they all started.
