The Bear is a short comedy illustrating much of human nature into one bizarre
and ultimately triumphant act. With three unique characters (including one
Bear) Chekhov demonstrates how close is the relationship between anger and
passion, and how strange and wonderful is the human condition. A tale of money,
mourning, duelling and love superbly performed at the intimate Bedlam Theatre.
