The World’s Wife is a collection of poems by Carol Ann Duffy, telling the stories of the women of myths and legends, whose voices are often obscured or forgotten; exploring themes of love, loss, death and life, the collection switches from moving to humorous in brilliant ways. Poignant, gripping but also funny, this production will bring those words to life, in an ensemble piece drawing on myth, legend and personal experience to depict the life and stories of women - ranging from Myra Hindley to Anne Hathaway.
