By Scottish playwright Catherine Czerkawska, ‘Wormwood’ is a dramatic, intense and very moving play. As the play unfolds we begin to learn of the human failings which caused the catastrophe and the devastating effect it had on those living nearest.
Wormwood highlights the unconquerable fallibilty which lies at the heart of each and every one of us and the way in which such a weakness, in it’s most extreme state, can initiate absolute and utter devastation.
‘Wormwood’ was very successfully performed at Bedlam Theatre in January 2009. The cast and crew have regrouped to deliver three further performances during Freshers’ Week and we very much hope you are able to join us.
