Creative Lighting Design

A combination of demonstration, discussion and hands-on practice, this workshop led by some of the EUTC’s most experienced technicians offers a grounding in the fundamentals of creative lighting design. Participants will explore the tools and effects a designer can employ, various tricks of the trade, and how to work with directors to establish a coherent vision. By the end, participants should be in a place where they can use their existing technical knowledge to play with new ideas. This workshop is mostly aimed at technicians who are looking to expand their knowledge of lighting, but beginners are also welcome.
