Want to take a show to the Edinburgh Fringe but have no idea what you’re doing? Last year, the team of Malvolio’s Fantasy went into the unknown by bringing a show independently to the Edinburgh Fringe. Two of these brave soldiers tell the tale at this workshop.
In this comprehensive survival guide, we will cover everything we wish we knew, so that you don’t make the same mistakes. We will take you from the beginning of venue applications, to the end of your show run, and all in between. You will be lead through the madness of finances, grants, marketing, getting reviewers, venue communication, rehersal space, networking, looking after yourself, and so much more! The Fringe can be overwhelming, but we hope to give you a bit of clarity as to what to expect.
There will also be time for asking us about any other concerns or queries you have.
