Shakespeare in Modern Performance

Interpreting Shakespeare for modern audiences and directing shakespearean text to a vision are two skills useful in any director’s toolkit. In this workshop we’ll look at techniques for helping actors to successfully scan and read shakespeare in performance while also discussing and showing methods for synthesising a production vision from a text.
