A horrifying plague sweeps the country. Prince Prospero retreats into the confines of a castellated abbey with chosen courtiers. In a decadent masqued ball, the revellers attempt to forget the outside world; but can they escape the Red Death? John Rushton and Stuart Young present a new adaptation of the classic short story by Edgar Allan Poe.
