An innocent man has died in police custody, and the truth about his death is hidden under layers of contradictory lies. The truth may never come out, unless one citizen, of questionable sanity, infiltrates the Metropolitan police headquarters in disguise, convincing the police to make their lies more and more absurd until the truth becomes impossible to hide.
This comedy, originally written in 1970, is just as relevant today, exploring corruption, lies, and police brutality.
This production is recommended for audiences aged 16 and over as it contains adult themes relating to police brutality and corruption (13+), frequent use of severe adult language (16+) and violent scenes that may be frightening and intense for children (13+).
