‘He made a big speech about how he was going to kill the dragon, overthrow the usurpers and right all wrongs. Everyone cheered. Sausage? Two for a dollar. Buy one for the lady? Made of genuine pig.’
The stinking city of Ankh-Morpork is trembling in its leaky boots under threat of a fire-breathing dragon, summoned by a secret society of incompetent brethren. As the sudden appearance of the supposed true king proves ineffective at dealing with the rather hungry problem, the underpaid, undervalued and overworked City Night Watch - all four of them - must wring themselves out and face the beast like, er, men..?
